Where Japanese craft meets a playful American spirit
TANTA is a Tokyo luxury house with a sense of humor. Every piece carries Chappy the bear — our star-eyed mascot — designed to radiate joy in the wearer and everyone who crosses their path.
Founded by Chicago-born, '80s-raised designer Tyler Hunt, the brand pairs an American eye for pop iconography with the uncompromising standards of Japanese manufacturing. Quietly worn by tastemakers and industry insiders, TANTA has become the kind of label you recognize only if you know.
A single garment may pass through more than five specialized ateliers across Japan before it earns the TANTA label.

The Craft
Patience in perfection
From the first sketch to its arrival in stores and online, each TANTA design takes five to eight months to perfect. Nothing is rushed. Every seam, print, and finish is executed by skilled Japanese artisans whose standards define the pinnacle of luxury casual wear.
Under an exclusive contract with Swarovski, our pieces are hand-set with genuine Crystals from Swarovski — so every TANTA garment doesn't just shine, it reflects the essence of luxury.
